About Our Practice
Dr. Annette Toledano, MD is a board certified internist serving Miami for the past 27 years through the North Miami Internal Medicine Practice. As a trusted Miami back doctor, her practice strongly emphasizes back pain treatment. Dr. Toledano has a special interest in pharmaceutical back pain research, finding that current treatment options did not work well for most patients who were suffering from back pain, and she ultimately developed a new drug to address this serious issue. Subsequently, the FDA awarded her an IND (Investigational New Drug) application for a new drug, and a clinical trial was started and is currently on-going in her practice, in order to test the new drug in hopes of providing relief from this sometimes devastating affliction.
As a board certified internist serving the Miami area for 27 years, Dr. Annette Toledano, MD has taken a special interest in pharmaceutical back pain research, with the practice currently recruiting volunteers to participate in a back pain clinical trial under supervision from the regulatory authority of the FDA and the IIRB (Independent Investigational Review Board).
